At our guild meeting on Sunday, my friend Wendy Orlowski of CaBezel fame, taught us how to make hollow lentil beads with windows and image transfers inside. We used her new "all in one" CaBezel, naturally, and I also used her gingko texture sheet. The CaBezel makes a nice raised lip around the window opening. I was in kind of a rush to get it done during the meeting, so this first try is a little wonky, but I really like the technique and think it has lots of possibilities.

More shawl pins
I've been distracted by machine knitting the last couple of weeks and haven't been keeping up on posting new polymer things. I added these shawl pins to my line a couple of weeks ago. Hope you like them.

Doggie Sweaters
I took a bit of a break from clay over the holidays and did some knitting on my knitting machine. My first project was some doggie sweaters for the two cutest dogs in the world. I also have matching scarves for Mommy and Daddy almost finished. Awwww....

Everything's coming up roses
Here is my latest shawl pin, It's an image transfer of roses on a sheet of music (image from Sabine's ImageArts on Etsy) and I made the stick into a rosebud on a stem.

Much better version of Palette pin
I think this version is much better and I will go with it to make some more pins. The palette is Kato Pearl which I baked, sanded and buffed then added the color blobs later. After a second baking, I coated the "blobs" with some Future to give them some shine.
